Meet Lilac and Saffron , the main characters of our story. Brave little travelers in the past, they've settled down in a Tree on a Hill and House Nearby. Their pet, a tree wild cat Fur, lives with them.

Once upon a time Lilac and Saffron were true madcaps. They made a round the world trip getting into such scrapes other animals are just afraid to imagine.
Much water has flowed under the bridge since then. These days, you can find them chatting on the meadow – reminiscing about the good old days, telling truths and fibs (why, of course). Everyone from the neighborhood attends since there is no other entertainment like movies or TV.
Meanwhile, little friends do morning exercise and take refreshing baths to keep fit. Believe me, they will dish it out one day.
I can't tell much about other residents of Downyhood, because they lead a quiet, routine life. But let me introduce them one after another.
Big and chubby is Shokobo . He quite often takes late night walks in the suberbs. Shokobo eats mushrooms, berries and small animals (it's all too easy to confuse them in the dark). Being homeless, he sleeps if and when he is ready to drop. In other words, he is a melancholic awkward being.
Pink and big-eared is Peppe . He dreams to become a Master of the Valley and rule the world. When he grows up. Unrequitedly loves Missie. Hyperactive.
Blue is Tori . A young pushful businessman. By this time, he is quietly selling the lands of Downyhood to a neighboring kingdom.
Red-haired girl making eyes at you is Missie . A typical furry doll, what can I add to that? She doesn't reciprocate Peppe's feelings, and flirts with Tori. A typical love triangle.
Little green panda is Fumo , or Fumoffu, or something like that. Nobody knows for sure, because he often swallows words and mumbles to himself, "Fuu...mo". It is rumored, he was put into jail for eating all the nuts in the neighborhood.
Long-necked is Loo . It was on a Fools Day that he dressed as a Heffalump scaring away poor little animals. The other time, he poured a gallon of shampoo into the river, so everyone in the neghborhood had a bubble tea that day. And one more thing... Well, I just discourage you from dealing with him.
